4to, approx 28cm x 21.5cm, each volume some 28-32 pages with two colour plates and line vignettes in the text. Original card wraps with an addition Heath Robinson picture to the top board. Overall all volumes very good, some edge chipping to the covers of each, contents clean and tight though text pages heavily toned. Vol 1 has a torn bottom corner to p15, not affecting the text.
